Boiler Sootblower

Soot blower to clean the boiler pipes. They should be managed how many insert into the boiler. To prevent too much steam is sprayed. It could be make damage the wall of boiler.

The steam pressure is 250 psi. after poppet valve into tube sootblowing.

If more than one soot blower insert at same time in one group. The 2rd soot blower will fail alarm. To making like this. Install pressure switches series each soot blower. So only one address input for pressure switch into PLC discrete.

23 VDC don't believe it

Some day we measured in field power transmitter 23VDC. But the Transmitter blank (OFF) on display. Measured current just +/- 1 mAmp.

Disconnect the transmitter and checked in the workshop. The transmitter could be ON.

What happening in the field...? Negative (-) pole from DCS marshaling broken.

Replaced the cable form DCS marshaling into the transmitter.

If you found 23VDC in field and display transmitter OFF. Don't believe it. And please make sure your cable. Connected in properly.

equalize two value

We need to be equalized two values. If using two switches define both values. Difficult to get the fine tune. Sugestion: replace both switches with two transmitter.

Level

Indicated "LOE" (loss of echo) on level transmitter display. It is mean that the transducer is looking the object. Maintain level of object in calibration range setup.
